140 rooms, pool, spa, sauna, complete kitchens (with dishwashers), washer/ dryers in units, 3 conference rooms. A skinny 40-story building (only 4 units per floor) built in 1984 with giant rooms that are almost across the street from the beach. All the rooms above the 18th floor have tasty ocean views. (Even those below 18 are fairly good.) Services are high, and they don't nickel and dime you here. Parking is free--even valet is free. No charge for room safes--even beach towels and beach chairs are there for you to take to the beach. (Too bad they charge you 75¢ for local calls.) This is a particularly good place for families since there's so much space in each unit. Lanais are large as well. 1/1s (accomplished via a lock-off creating about 1,044 sq. ft. of living area) are $550-$605. 2/2s (1,241 sq. ft.) are $660-$795. Pricey? You bet. But if you need gobs of room and want someplace expensively furnished, this is a nice place to stay. Few people ever pay the full rack rate.
