644 rooms, pool, 2 restaurants, 2 conference rooms, free fitness room, free Wi-Fi by pool, hi-speed Internet access in rooms, 24-hour business center. A 25-story tower with a hot red floral and dark chocolate bold decor in rooms--sort of a lava color scheme, renovated in 2006. Breakfast is free with live entertainment--you either eat it at the pool or you can take it over to the beach across the street in one of their free cooler bags. No coffee makers in rooms for us coffee addicts. Kids' program is during the summer only, and they take the kids off-site to places like the zoo, etc. Complimentary beach chairs available. Tiny lanais on the Diamond Head side are standing room only. Overall, the place feels busy and loud most of the time. Parking is valet only for $22. Rooms (225 sq. ft.) are $300-$450. Jr. suites (374 sq. ft.) are $500. These prices seem waaay high to us; hope you did better.
