743 rooms, pool, spa, sauna, free Wi-Fi in lobby, Internet kiosk, microwave, fridge, coffee makers (add a burner for kitchenette), free room safes, convenience store. A 44-story 1970s tower, the place is big. Odd-numbered upper floor rooms have the best views, which can be fairly expansive, but it's still pretty far from the ocean. Lanais are huge while bathrooms are small--go figure. No a/c in the living rooms of 1-bedroom units, which can get hot. Their pool deck is enormous, but most of it seems underused; they were considering adding bbqs at press time. Overall, it doesn't exude a warm, tropical feel, the furnishings need updating, and it's a long walk to the beach. Parking is $18. Rooms (308-316 sq. ft.) are $175-$210. Studios with kitchenettes (308-316 sq. ft.) are $220-$240. 1/1s (570 sq. ft.) are $290-$360.
