1,156 rooms, pool, room service, 2 restaurants, coffee makers with free coffee daily, room safes, Wi-Fi in lobby along with free 20-minute per day use of computers, free 24-hour fitness room, 2 conference rooms. This place consists of three very different buildings, and the tallest building doesn’t directly face the ocean. There doesn’t seem to be a single theme running through the resortit’s as if all three buildings were unrelated. Waikiki resorts sometimes feel busy, but this place tends to feel really busy to us. The pace can be downright frantic. They clearly target families heregreat if you’re bringing the kids, not so great if you’re trying to get away from ’em. One of the restaurants is by the pool, so you can eat while another member of the family plays at the pool. You also have signing privileges at all other Starwoods in Waikiki. Not all rooms have lanaischeck if this is important to you. Rooms are pretty small and hardly luxurious, but the price is reasonable, especially since few people pay the rack rates listed below. Discounts can make it a solid gold value if you don’t mind the busyness. Starwood Preferred members get about 30%35% off the rates listed below. There is a mandatory resort fee of $18 which covers, Internet, self-parking, local calls and some other stuff. The beach is a block away. Rooms (200300 sq. ft.) are $280$470, family suites (350540 sq. ft.) are $500$550, suites (492-1,653 sq. ft.) are $1,150$2,600. |
