80 units, pool, 4 restaurants, kitchens, computer in lobby for a fee, older wing has no lanais or a/c. Only 6 stories high at this 1962 pink building, and nothing seems to have changed since it was built. Maid service is twice weekly for weekly stays or daily for daily stays. Some of the rooms don't have a/c or coffee makers (both equally crucial as far as we're concerned). It's cheap, but it's pretty run down--dirty carpets, musty smells, peeling wallpaper--you get the idea. We don't see it changing because they are always booked--go figgah? The hand-written sign at the pool says it all, "When towels are gone, that's it--no more til tomorrow." On the upside, they do have regular potlucks and a nice staff. The owner plays the 'ukulele and has music jams weekly. Parking is $10 at the Waikiki Banyan (a couple of blocks away). Studios are $55-$70 (cheapest rooms are in older building), 1/1s $90-$100. A couple minutes' walk to the beach. In our opinion, you are better off at the Waikiki Prince Hotel.
