315 rooms, pool, restaurant, lanais on most. A 19-story building from 1969. This was a grand hotel in its day, but it's looking a bit worn and tired. It's not seedy or dirty, just faded. The view from their pool is particularly wonderful, with an expansive vista from Diamond Head to part of Waikiki. Rooms facing the ocean or Diamond Head are also awesome. Staff is good. A short block to the beach. Rooms (216-299 sq. ft.) are $133-$223, studios with kitchenettes (344 sq. ft.) are $228-$253. 1/1s (1,022 sq. ft.) are $325-$500. Few pay the rack rates.
