72 rooms, lanais on rooms ending in 01 and 06, free Wi-Fi in lobby and rooms, free continental breakfast (with a few added touches) and coffee in lobby, free local calls, free laptop-sized room safes. Laundry is valet-only. This place is sexy, urban and chic, not typical Waikiki. The color scheme is dark, rich, warm and inviting. Feather beds with high-thread count sheets, ambient lighting and fresh fruit (daily) in your room. Literally everything was designed especially for them, and every place you look there is something unusual, from the lobby washroom sinks (we'll let you be surprised) to the 80-inch projection TVs in some rooms. (Picture quality, unfortunately, is not HD.) They do not have a pool, and they are not on the beach, but oceanview rooms can still be quite good as they face the water directly, and the beach is one block away. This place totally works for us. Valet parking is $22. Rooms are small, but storage has been carefully designed to make the most of the space. Rack rates are pricey, but many good packages are available. Rooms (295 sq. ft.) are $300-$370.
