A 19-story tower from 1974 with rooms renovated in 2009. This hotel is popular with business travelers and those who want convenient access to the Hawai'i Convention Center a few minutes' walk away. The beach is farther--almost a 10-minute walk. You have access to the Mandara Spa at the Hilton Hawaiian Villlage. The rooms are nicely appointed, reasonably sized, with Hilton's Sweet Dreams beds, but the views are unimpressive. It's not a dreamy vacation paradise; it's a convenient place for business travelers. Valet parking is $29. Rooms (330-375 sq. ft.) are $279-$299, suites (627-1,000 sq. ft.) are $319-$479. Deep discounts are often obtainable, taking some bite off the high rack rates.
