262 rooms, pool, fitness room, small day spa, bbq, lanais on most, Wi-Fi in lobby. This is a 12-story 1970s building that was remodeled in 2005. All units are studios with kitchenettes and clean simple decor. Since this building is on a relatively busy street, try to get a unit that faces the back of the building, which has less traffic noise. Many amenities are free here that other resorts charge for, such as hi-speed Internet access, room safes, local calls, daily coffee and continental breakfast. Studios (around 240-363 sq. ft.) are $220-$255. 1/1s (538 sq.ft.) are $395. A few minutes' walk to the beach at the Hilton.
