196 units, pool, keiki pool, spa, central a/c, 3 lighted tennis courts, putting green, beach volleyball, basketball, bbqs, poolside restaurant, washer/dryer in unit, elevator. This 4-building complex is a mixed bag of timeshares and vacation rentals. The buildings feel institutional and don’t seem as well-maintained as others in the area. They could use a good powerwash on the hallway floors and walkways, and there appeared to be lots of little things broken around the resort. The elevators can take an exceptionally long time during busy hours. On the positive side, the rooms are very large, and the layouts are pleasing. Some even have showers and tubs with an ocean view. Stick with buildings 2 or 3 for the best views. Units vary from nice decor to so-so. They’re on Kahana Beach. The water is usually pretty clear, and the sandy beach is good for swimming when calm. Local calls are $1 for first 10 minutes. (Why do they care how long your local calls are?) Rates vary a lot with view, quality and season. 1/1s (800–835 sq. ft.) are $185–$265, 2/2s (1,500–1,685 sq. ft.) are $295–$500, 3/2s and 3/3s (1,790–2,290 sq. ft.) are $375–$495.
