Maui Revealed: "I do quite a bit of traveling, and find that your books on the islands are simply the best. They are accurate, and enable us to find things that we would not normally discover with any other travel guides. Thanks again for such great books." |
Paki Maui (877) 997-6667 or (808) 669-8235 3615 Lwr. Honoapiilani Rd.
112 units, pool, spa, free hi-speed Internet access, elevator, bbqs, daily maid service, washer/dryer in some (request one), free room safe. The resort’s oceanfront location is good. A reef offshore creates a fairly protected beach area, good for kids during calm seas and low tides. The beach isn’t as seaweedy as other areas farther north. The ocean view from the pool is completely blocked by shrubs, which is disappointing. The rooms, though laid out fairly well, often have cheap furnishings and don’t seem as clean as others in the area. The oceanfront studios have a better layout than the 1/1s because the bed is on the ocean side, so opt for a studio if you don’t need the extra room. Avoid the 1/1s with a garden view. The ocean view is worth the extra money here. The rack rate is overpriced but few pay it. Parking is $8 per day. Local calls are $1. Studios (575 sq. ft.) are $274, 1/1s (610 sq. ft.) are $265$325, 2/2s (1,227 sq. ft.) are $434$450. Those rack rates are way high, but few pay them. |
