199 units, pool, spa, hi-speed Internet access in rooms, daily maid service, a/c, elevator, coffee maker with free coffee daily, bbqs. Located very close to the water, oceanfront units have awesome views, and you’ll fall asleep to the sound of the surf. If you want a 1/1 and you want to face the ocean, you have to stay on the ground floor, which doesn’t have as nice a view as the floors above the 5th. (Floors 3–5 have a lot of palm trees in the way of views.) The 1/1 bedrooms are on the parking lot side, but you can walk right out onto the lawn from the living rooms. They have mirrored glass on the windows, so others can’t see you inside (during the day). Most rooms are sold as packages, so you’ll almost certainly pay less than the rack rates listed. Many of the 540 sq. ft. studios have pull-down wall beds, which increases the room size by getting rid of the bed when you’re finished with it; ask for one. The rooms are very basic and may have dated bathrooms and kitchens, but it’s got a great oceanfront location, and the extra $30–$65 for oceanfront is definitely worth it here. Local calls are 75¢ and parking is $8. 1/1s are a roomy 1,143 sq. ft. Studios are $225–$290, 1/1s are $305–$355. Penthouses (1,430 sq. ft.) are $355–$385.
