30 units, pool, a/c, bbqs, free hi-speed Internet access. In windy, dusty north Kihei with small rooms and kitchens that felt overpriced to us. Ground units A1–A8 have poorest views—which they call ocean view. (We think that is too generous a category for mostly grass and a sliver of water.) The 2- and 3-bedroom units are loft-style. They have 4 units that directly face the ocean. There is new management here who have made improvements to the property, and you can see that they care about the guests. They changed windows in some units closer to the road to block the street noise, which seems to work well. They serve free 100% Kona coffee by the pool in the mornings and once a month a free mac nut pancake breakfast. It’s on a broad, sandy beach with a pleasant pool area. 1/1s (650 sq. ft.) are $155–$210, 2/2s (750 sq. ft.) are $195–$255. 3/2s (850 sq. ft.) are $245–$265. 4-night minimum.
