440 units, pool, keiki pool, 2 spas, 4 tennis courts, bbq, air conditioning (in living rooms), hi-speed Internet access in units and computers available in the lobby, elevator, room safes, washer/dryer in units, lanais on all, daily maid service (at Castle units). Across the street from Kama'ole III Beach, some rooms have adequate views, many do not. In fact, some hallways have better views than most units. They gouge...I mean charge a hefty $1 for each local call--pretty onerous if you're making plans from the room. With the keiki (kids) pool and a beach across the street, it's a good place for kids. (How ironic that Kama'ole means childless in Hawaiian.) The slate around the pool gets pretty hot on the feet. (We feel sorry for the poor hula dancers during the weekly mai tai parties.) The spiral staircase in the middle of the living room leading to top floor lofts is really annoying. Rooms are large at 818 sq. ft. for the 1/2s, 1,036-1,188 for 2/2s. Castle (the number above) has most of the units, and rates for 1/2 units are $235-$325, 2/2s are $320-$460. Maui Condo (800) 822-4409 has much cheaper units but no maid service. Castle prices are way too high for what you get.
