This vintage 10-room (plus cottage) hotel and restaurant was built in 1922 for plantation guests and predates the large resorts. It’s for the “budget traveler” to Lana‘i (if there is such an animal). There are no tvs (except in cottage), air conditioning, phones or radios in the rooms, but they have mini fridges and ceiling fans. The single-wall construction means the sound carries easily from room to room. The rooms are very clean. Rates include continental breakfast. The rooms (150–300 sq. ft.) are $99–$149, 400 sq. ft. cottage is $179.
