45 units, pool, a/c, free Wi-Fi in some, bbqs, free room safes in some. This 1970s property is near the end of the road. The 4 buildings are 3-story walk-ups. The pool is right next to the ocean and a sandy beach (sometimes seaweed present). The oceanfront views are pretty dreamy here and worth the upgrade. Some of the units not facing toward or away from the ocean have no windows capturing airflow, so despite Ma‘alaea’s notorious winds, they get hot and still inside. (It’s frustrating the see the trees moving violently outside and not getting any of that breeze inside.) Some units are updated, others are adequate, but they’re clean. The master bedroom is shut off by a sliding or shoji door. 1/1s (580 sq. ft.) are $100–$195, 2/2s (765 sq. ft.) are $110–$275. 5-night minimum. Discounts on longer stays.
