"Although I've been coming to Kaua'i for the past 18 years, I recently picked up a copy of your Ultimate Kaua'i Guidebook. WOW!!!! Is the only word to express the fantastic job that you have done. It was very interesting to read your reviews of tour operators, activities, restaurants and accommodations. I especially appreciated the mile markers and detailed directions to some of the beaches that I have heard about for years but was never quite sure how to get there."

39 units, heated pool and spa, daily maid, elevator, free daily coffee, in-room safes, Internet access in lobby. There are resorts where they spend big bucks on the grounds, and resorts where they spend it on the rooms. Though the grounds are manicured and quite nice, they really outdid themselves on the rooms. Though individually owned and decorated, they are expensively furnished. (You know it's expensive when there is koa floor trim in the closet.) Some of the suites are as opulent as any we've seen. The resort is very quiet, and they provide more personalized service than you will find elsewhere. (They will even do your grocery shopping before you arrive and stock your refrigerator.) Very clean. Most units have Jacuzzi bathtubs, many overlooking the ocean. They ain't cheap, so do what you have to to get a discount. 1/2 units are $349-$515 (these actually have two bedrooms, but you are limited to 2 people and charged as if it were 1/2), 2/2 units are $479-$675. Most units have or 1,390 sq. ft. (plus lanai) except the deluxe, which has 2,200 sq. ft. In all, it's expensive, but worth the money if you get a deal. By the way, even at this price they have an obnoxious mandatory $15 resort fee. With all the services they provide, do they really have to charge an extra $15 so you can have "free" beach towels? (OK, end of rant.)
