34 units, air conditioning, TVs, (no refrigerators or phones). Let's face it, the name Tip Top Motel does not exactly instill confidence. But if you are looking for a clean, simple place to stay, this is the place for you. The rooms are very basic. Try to stay in the building that houses the restaurant; the other building may be noisier at night with people sitting outside their rooms. The restaurant downstairs is a great bargain (see review under Dining). Owned by the same family since 1916. Price per room is $65. You may be better off at the Kaua'i Palms for this price.
