135 rooms, pool, coin-op laundry, no elevator, empty fridge, Wi-Fi or use kiosk in lobby, coffee maker with free coffee daily, lanais on deluxe rooms overlooking koi pond, free safety deposit boxes at front desk. Clean, simple (but old) rooms across from the Ice Pond. Very warm staff, well-maintained building and grounds. Rooms facing the pool (interior side of property—#16–29) are preferable since they’re away from the street noise on this busy corner. As a second choice, get a room facing the koi pond. Rooms (around 350 sq. ft.) are $130–$150, with kitchenettes for $160. You will usually get a discount, and if you get a room for $99, it’s a Solid Gold Value.
